Application users get to be the first to see brand spankin’ new clothes, shoes and accessories from Hollywood’s trendiest fashion boutique, possibly even before the celebs do.

“Starting November 20th, 2007 Kitson will feature new products in the ‘What’s Hot’ section of the Total Fashionista application everyday until Christmas,” a press release said. “Total Fashionista members will be able to add their favorite items to their own collection. In addition to maintaining their own collections, members can view their friend’s collections, rate the items, comment on the items, and even send items to their friends or other members.”

The app lets Facebookers on the cutting edge of style peruse the latest pieces and add them to their personal collections. You’re not entitled to buy, although you can, but the real beauty of an app like this is being able to show off your fashion trend spotting abilities to all your friends on the web. It also gives your friends a chance to see what’s on your Christmas wish list… that could really take the stress off your man to find you the perfect gift!
