This SNL commercial focuses on addressing the false hopes that are promised to America by the 2016 Republican presidential candidates. The spoof ad shows a parody of three political candidates and their concerned wives. The wives are seeking a way to cure their husbands of dementia and false hope.

Another actor appears in the commercial with a simple cure. A pill called 'Abilify' is said to be a cure for "people who think they can be president." While this SNL commercial address politics and health care in a very satiric way, there is also a lot of valuable information being given to the audience.

The ultimate goal for this commercial is to educate the audience about politics. The hope is also to encourage viewers to seek further understanding of the political parties running for next year's presidency.
