GANGBOX Creates the Special SNH_003 Sculpture
Artist Moya Garrison-Msingwana, who is also recognized as GANGBOX works with Letter Bet on a new limited edition series of sculpture entitled SNH_003. There are 50 sculptures in total - all of which are made with resin and inspired by his interests in both anima and street culture.
The Toronto-based artist works together with 3D modeler Sy Blake to create the latest piece of work. It is meant to capture Afrocentric people as the main characters in an outdoor exploration journey to see beyond the 'ethnic' or 'local guide' trope. Every single sculpture is carefully painted by hand with a specially designed box that is packaged within. It is made using reclaimed wood and a natural honey stain with a plexiglass cover.
