Interactive Lighting Showrooms

Linkind Lets Visitors Control Smart Lighting in Real Time

Linkind is bringing smart lighting into a physical retail environment through interactive lighting showrooms that let consumers experience customization firsthand. At tm:rw’s New York City store, the brand has transformed the Sanctuary into an immersive demonstration of its Smart Light Stick Color+White 850lm. Visitors can activate more than 100 presets, experiment with 16 million colors and create personalized effects using the Dotis AI lighting assistant. The bulb uses 160 internal LEDs and 50 independent color zones to produce gradients, movement and effects such as simulated flames.

The installation gives Linkind a more experiential way to demonstrate capabilities that can be difficult to communicate through conventional product photography or packaging. Allowing shoppers to control the lighting can strengthen product understanding while encouraging social sharing and discovery. The Times Square location and accompanying digital billboards also extend visibility beyond the showroom, connecting hands-on retail with large-scale outdoor marketing.
