With services like Airbnb becoming a more common means of finding a place to stay, new innovations like the 'Igloohome' smart door locks are being created to fill a new market demand.
When it comes to home sharing, one of the biggest pains can be key exchanges or if guests lose the keys. As such, the 'Igloohome' lock would enable a PIN code with an expiration date to be used and set for houseguests to use or even family or friends to utilize to gain entry to the home.
The 'Igloohome' smart door locks are run on 4 AA batteries and are rated to last about nine months with different models available in both left hand and right hand versions. The 'Igloohome' works via a subscription with the company and is available now for purchase in Australia, Singapore and Thailand.
