You know that a trend is legit when it appears in an editorial in French Vogue. Here at Trend Hunter, we’ve been tracking an increasing interest in dangerously high shoes, and now we have the support of the couture world. Talk about high fashion!

The latest issue of Vogue Paris features an editorial “Afrodisiaque” with models Lakshmi Menon and Yasmin Warsame, as styled by editor-in-chief Carine Roitfeld, in insanely high platform shoes, captured by photographer Mario Testino. 

Menon, who is the current face of Givenchy, strikes eccentric poses that complement the dramatic fashion pieces and skyscraper shoes she manages to stand atop.
