The Minimalistic Shakespeare Covers are Plain and Clean

These minimalistic Shakespeare covers are part of an ongoing research project. The company that’s producing these simplistic book covers state that the obvious reference to commercial American graphic design aims to give advertising to works that lack both the promotion and the protection of a living author.

Whether or not their hypothesis is true or not, I’ve got to say I really like these clean looking Shakespearean titles. Furthermore, these book covers have more space for graffiti if you’re the type who gets bored easily by old English (not that I’m encouraging graffitiing a classic).
