Sears Connected Solutions Allows Interaction with Automation Products

The prevalence of home and personal automation products has inspired Sears Connected Solutions, a series of experiential shops that present these products in the only way they should be, up-and-running. By showcasing powered and programmed products, consumers are able to interact with them in a way they were only able to at home once purchased.

Although currently experiencing profit problems, Sears Connected Solutions is a natural course of action. Jim Pearse, VP of consumer electronics for Sears Holdings, says, "With a presence in more than 13 million homes annually, dominance across the appliance, fitness and tools categories and knowledgeable associates, Sears is uniquely positioned to lead this category." He goes on to note, "No one else in retail is doing this today."
