Google Added Privacy Concerns to its Search Removal Request Feature

Google has released a new update for its Search Removal Request system that allows individuals to request that certain content be removed based on personal privacy. Previously, the removal request system was used for harmful, misleading, or copyrighted information. With this new update, individuals can now request that information be removed for reasons that are not necessarily harmful.
If an individual, for example, finds that their address has been leaked on the internet, this content would be considered harmful and would have already been viable to remove by Google. Some examples of new types of sensitive information that are removable are phone numbers, account passwords, or even security question answers. It is important to note that this feature merely prevents the content from appearing in Google Search results, and it does not remove the content from the internet entirely.
