News of the Samsung custom dragon phone hit the web today and the mobile phone provider is receiving a lot of notoriety for their above-and-beyond stance when it comes to customer service.
It all started out rather innocently with Shane Bennett -- a customer of Samsung. He posted on Samsung's Facebook page with a random (and rather childlike) drawing of a fire-breathing dragon in hopes of receiving some goodies from the company.
Most big brands wouldn't reply, or would have a bland response template to send back, but not Samsung. The company replied back with a drawing of a kangaroo on a unicycle. Bennett posted to the screenshot to Reddit, which received a ton of online traffic and sparked conversation. Shortly after he got a free Galaxy S III in the mail. The best part? It was personalized with his own dragon drawing and was paired with a letter saying that this phone was "the only customized S III in Canada."
Not bad for a single Facebook comment.
