Artists everywhere have been intrigued by the beauty of jellyfish for decades now, and designer Roxy Russell is giving people a chance to bring that beauty into their homes. Seen here are her various lantern creations that were inspired by aquatic lifeforms. The details and patterns Russell made are so realistic that, if glanced upon quickly, some may confuse these illuminators for actual jellyfish.

All of these oceanic lanterns can be found under the ‘Medusae Collection’ section on Roxy Russell's website. There are five designs in total and they cost between $300 and $400. Each light is also given a Greek name that best describes its design. For instance, the ‘Medusa’ has the most luminous tendrils of the bunch, which is visually similar to the snake hairs found on the mythic monster’s head.
