Does masking photo shoots with retro flare make it OK to use artistic nudity?

Eva Mendes posed for Vogue Italia’s most recent issue and many in the online community seem to be digging the photos judging by the fact that they’re spread (no pun intended) on quite a few of my favorite websites today.

Mendes, whose retro-themed pictures seem to have been done in a manner reminiscent of a young Sofia Loren from the 1950’s, poses topless in a photo spread injected with retro looks and very, very heavy doses of kink.
