There are a variety of ways to prevent forest fires, but the 'Green Eudemon' is surely one of the more innovative and future-thinking. Intended to be placed in high-risk forested areas, the 'Green Eudemon' packs a series of sensors that will actively keep track of anything that goes wrong. If a forest fire starts, the 'Green Eudemon' will alert monitoring stations to prevent it from spreading.

Designed by Furong Zhang, Wei Liu, Wang Cai and Xue Zhang, the 'Green Eudemon' looks to cut down the some 50,000 forest fires that occur worldwide every year. The product looks to offer a cost-effective solution that could be more conducive than drone technology or traditional ground control monitoring combined.
