Practice Makes Perfect Inc. (PMP) is a non-profit based in New York City that attempts to create success in education through a mentorship program. "Practice Makes Perfect provides summer enrichment through a unique multi-relational approach that pairs academically struggling middle school students with high achieving high school students from the same inner-city neighborhoods and puts them under the supervision of college mentors for an academic intensive summer program," the organization's Echoing Green profile writes. "PMP provides low-income students with mentorship and resources that are beyond the reach of their inner-city schools."
PMP was founded by Karim Abouelnaga, who also serves as the organization's CEO. He was also a 2013 Echoing Green Fellow in the education category, the finalists who were released earlier this month.
