While the hopes of many are high, the chances of reaping the rewards of the Powerball lottery are exceedingly low. $195 million is a gambler’s wet dream and temptation to buy is almost inevitable, regardless if you are a Powerball player or not. The recession does not seem to be hurting sales for Powerball and while it is nice to have hope during times of economic despair, I think gambling may become a dangerous place to misplace that hope.
