Peter's Chocolate is Celebrating its 150th Anniversary

— February 21, 2025 — Lifestyle
Peter's Chocolate has announced the celebrations for its 150th anniversary that will see the brand offering a series of treats that pay homage to its heritage. The celebration from the brand harkens back to its Swiss provenance that saw it start in Vevey by Daniel Peter who spent eight years getting the formula for his signature milk chocolate just right before offering it locally and heading overseas to the US later on. The brand is thus leaning into its heritage and provenance to help get consumers in on the celebrations as a way to reinforce relationships and loyalty.

VP and Managing Director for Cocoa and Chocolate, Cargill Food North America Kojo Amoo-Gottfried spoke on the Peter's Chocolate anniversary saying, "Peter’s Chocolate has long been synonymous with innovation and excellence. As we celebrate this milestone, we’re proud to empower today’s chocolatiers, bakers, pastry chefs and artisan ice cream makers with the finest chocolate ingredients, enabling them to delight consumers with indulgent, memorable experiences.”
