Hotel Pelirocco is a hip boutique hotel in Brighton (UK), which has earned a reputation for its rock'n roll atmosphere. Its funky themed rooms inspired by pop culture, sexy stars, artists, musicians and other modern heros make this hotel really special.
Each of the 19 rooms is uniquely designed. Jamie Reid, Pussy, Asian Dub Foundation, Hysteric Glamour, Nookii and Skint Records are just a handful of the faces who have put a name to bedrooms. An extra touch is added by the three partner brands: PlayStation, Absolut and Durex.
There is a complimentary PlayStation console in every room, allowing also PS2 network gaming so that guests at the hotel can play PS2 games online against anybody in the UK or the whole of Europe. If this is not enough for hard-gamers, the PlayStation Bar offers the opportunity to play also outside of your room.
The Durex Play Room is defined as the ultimate â€œdirty weekendâ€ suite. It's theme is a mixture of all things decadent and indulgent, kitsch and sexy boudoir reminiscences. In the room there is a 8ft circular bed, complete with overhead mirror, pole dancing area, a sumptuous, 70's style lounge area and a huge bath tub.
Absolut Vodka sponsors the romantic and sumptuous Absolut Love room , designed by interior designer Shaun Clarkson.
If you plan a dirty weekend, you can also book The Pin Up Parlour dedicated to the Uks own sex siren Diana Dors. There is also a sexy boudoir dedicated to 50s bombshell Betty Page, the Sputnik space age capsule room, and a boxing ring-like room dedicated to Mohammed Ali.
This kind of partner branding seems an interesting alternative marketing strategy for brands who do not aim at entering the hotel industry directly (or maybe just can't).
By the way, can't wait for being there... though choosing just one room is hard.
