Fashion retailer Topshop has now launched its second accessory collection with bPay, which make it possible for young consumers to tap into the ease of contactless payment tech. The all-new accessory range includes a series of bracelets, phone cases and key chains that have built-in contactless chips that are connected to secure digital wallets. This fusion of fashion and technology shows the potential for this kind of technology to easily hide in plain sight and become integrated into just about any ordinary accessory.
bPay technology comes from Barclaycard and allows consumers to make tap-and-go payments from contactless terminals.
This range targeted at the young female consumers who frequent Topshop—a generation that is eager and quick to adopt new technologies and accept them as the new norm.
