Designer Tanya Taylor decided to do something a little different for the presentation of her resort collection lookbook, which involved playfully presenting her garments on paper doll models. For the project, Taylor worked with Kalen Hollomon, an Instagram artist who has previously worked with Vogue on the #VogueInstaFashion campaign for Paris Fashion Week.
With Hollomon posting photos of cutouts of models wearing Taylor's latest collection in locations throughout New York City, it's imaginative, but also telling of how the clothes would fit into the real world. The images are posted to Hollomon's Instagram page and as an up-and-coming creative, Taylor's new collection is getting plenty of views from the 15,000 people who follow Hollomon on Instagram.
Just as a photographer might, in capturing the collection Hollomon describes that "As I walked, I shopped around the city for situations that meshed well with the poses and graphic elements of Tanya’s collection. The idea was to keep moving and look for the right moments to present themselves."
