Joanna Laajisto is the designer behind the interior of the OX restaurant located in Helsinki that features a decor inspired by the eatery's menu. The walls feature a corrugated metal pattern and bright coloring that reflects the restaurant's dual food fusion that combines North African and European flavors.

The OX eatery is a stylish and modern location that combines both rustic design with contemporary embellishments. The walls are patterned with metallic corrugated panels that add texture and dimension to the space. The seats and tables feature a dark wood look complete with soft pastels in orange and red shades. In addition, the kitchen is uniquely located at the centre of the restaurant allowing guests to be a part of the cooking experience as they sit as spectators waiting for their meals.
