The Owl Project has changed the face of modern technology with their new creation, the Log1k. The Manchester artists made this log-like laptop require 24 AA batteries to allow them to generate signals, make sounds as well as light up it’s screen.
The iLog is another one of the groups projects that also produces noise and light. They claim, in jest of modern tech, that the iLog’s wooden display offers “amazing grain quality.”
These quirky products are not only neat to look at, but they also speak loudly about our disposable culture and our fading connection with nature.
