The shopping experience in-store is becoming inherently focused on higher levels of technological integration, which is evident with the announcement of the new AOPEN Chromebase Mini Chrome OS Tablet.

Designed for use with digital signage or kiosks that are displayed in-store, the tablet features a 10.1-inch display and is powered by a quad-core ARM Cortex-A17 processor. This is supported by 4GB of RAM, while the unit features 16GB of storage.

The AOPEN Chromebase Mini Chrome OS Tablet has a front-facing camera, a stereo speaker and dual microphones. Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity are also integrated to make connectivity not dependent on physical connections.

The tablet offers retailers the ability to create immersive signage and display experiences to help further draw in prospective customers.
