Panda Express is poised to give fans a whole new way to enjoy its iconic Orange Chicken with the launch of the new Orange Chicken Sandwich Bao.
Currently being tested at the brand's innovation Kitchen in Pasadena, California, the new Orange Chicken Sandwich Bao is a more snackable way to enjoy orange chicken. The new dish consists of a piece of crispy-fired chicken coated in the brand's signature Orange Chicken sauce. The protein is then paired with sliced pickles and a drizzle of sriracha aioli, and served on a toasted sandwich bao. The toasting of the bao results in a texture and taste that is similar to a folded flatbread.
