Google and Adobe's Project Photoshop Streaming is a new and powerful way to take advantage of online photo editing from a web browser. Photoshop Streaming works from within Chrome browsers and the Chromebook, with file access from Google Drive so that there's no need to download or re-upload files—everything happens securely within the cloud.

For now, Project Photoshop Streaming is only available for trial by the educational sector over the course of the next six months. The in-browser Photoshop Streaming application is still in the beta phases, but users are able to access most of the same features of the desktop Adobe Photoshop computer program, except for some of the more advanced 3D editing tools.
