It doesn’t get any simpler than this new grab-and-open, one-handed bottle opener called GrOpener. Made by Mark Manger, this product’s innovation comes in its one-handed design, which allows users to grab their beer and open it in one motion. There’s no sense using two hands to open a bottle these days; after all, your other hand is probably holding your phone anyway. A magnet in the GrOpener helps center the gadget on top of the bottle cap and also holds onto it after opening. That same magnet also makes it convenient to store GrOpener on your fridge for easy finding. GrOpener comes in several colors including gun-metal gray, blue and red.
Although GrOpener is still in the prototype stage, it looks well on its way to being a viable product. Enthusiasts can donate to the product development effort by visiting http://www.indiegogo.com/gropener. Mark Manger has already raised $732 of the $4,000 goal.
