In our media crazed world, obsessive fans continue to push the boundaries in order to get exposure to larger than life celebrities.  One fan, Cielke Sijben handcuffed herself to Hugh Grant at the premier of his latest movie, ‘Music & Lyrics’.  Cielke is also a TV jouirnalist.

With little other option, Hugh continued to talk to the press with his obsessive fan at his side.  He had to wait 10 minutes for firefighters to unleash the cuffs.  Even more stunning is the fact that no charges were pressed.  In the video, you can see a very happy Cielke as she walks alongside Hugh listening to his interviews and getting herself international media coverage. 

Given the lack of arrest, I can’t help but think that the event is setting an example for more obsessive fans to cross boundaries.

Quite the video... He really can't do much because he doesn't want to lose his composure, and then as a result, she gets to hang out with her favorite celeb for free... no jail time at all. wow.
