As older people are prone to forgetting their medicine and keeping track of what they should and should not eat, Marcela Kawka and Izabela Cichecka have created the â€œHealth Guardâ€ concept for NOKIA. The Health Guard targets the upcoming generation of senior citizen baby boomers who are tech savvy. It monitors (via RFID tags) and keeps track what they consume; from foods, medicine, possible allergens and nutritional info.
The two-piece monitoring station attaches to any refrigerator and features a small detachable RFID reader for trips to the local market and a touch display base with easily recognizable universal icons. Other features include a memo pad and voice recorder.
