The various sites around a city can vary in level of beauty, but photographer Nicolas Aristidou captures ladies in unexpected locations looking as prim and proper as though they had just stepped off the catwalk.

Fashion photography is often polished to an overt extent with plenty of after-shot effects being added to help enhance the opulent lifestyle that's trying to be conveyed. Aristidou, however, focuses on the beauty of the ladies alone and emphasizes this by placing them in rundown urban environments that help to get the point across that beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder. Who's to say the steps leading to the subway aren't a great spot to capture some couture?
