Muuto Unveils New Designs with Three Different Studios

Muuto introduces new designs for the Spring 2023 season and it is rooted in craftsmanship and functionality above all else. The company taps the help of three design efforts to create collaborative looks -- this includes Sylvain Willenz, Johan van Hengel, and Normal Studio. Together, the three unveil the Couple Coffee Table, the Wrap Lounge Chair, and the East Portable Lamp. All of these are detailed with clean lines and subtle detailing for a minimal look.
One of the highlighting pieces is the chair. Normal Studio made this possible and it speaks about the project, noting that “Designing the Wrap Lounge Chair, we had the image of a lounge chair with a soft blanket simply draped around its ample silhouette in mind, playing with models and prototypes to find a fluid way of incarnating this idea. We were driven by the idea of creating a really snug chair with an enveloping feel and generous proportions that don’t feel chunky. A highly comfortable lounge chair with lots of personality.”
