Stefan Borselius and Thomas Bernstrand created this cozy and head-turning design for the Swedish furniture brand Blå Station.
The modern cube chair, called the BOB Solo Chair, features two padded panels on each side and a mini oak tabletop. The furniture piece even includes "a tiny little power light," called the BOB Light Mini. The silhouette has been described as a “room in the room” and a “nook for privacy,” testifying to the piece's very specific design and intended functionality. Borselius and Bernstrand added wheels to the modern cube chair to ensure easy portability, as well.
