Although the Via 57 West multi-use building looks like a metal sail from afar, the reality is that the coastline condo is bringing sustainable living to Manhattan. Covering an area of 80,000-square-feet, the Via 57 West building packs 709 apartments, while it also focuses on holding community events for residents and community members.

aside from the exercise amenities and 24-hour concierge, the Via 57 West building is focused on sustainability. Water use overall is minimized, but the building also harvests rain water to help increase overall efficiency and recycles water on-site everyday.

The Via 57 West building is also focused on decreasing the amount of volatile organic compounds that the dwellings would emit. Occupancy of the building is set to begin in the next month with the building reaching completion in the next quarter.
