Fashion has always been inspired by movies and vice versa. Both worlds fuse in “Movie Stills,” an editorial in the December 2008 issue of Vogue Italia.

Peter Lindbergh puts both his photography and directing skills to use in capturing model Malgosia Bela, who is also a talented actress, in this intense editorial that pays homage to the gritty and realistic cinematography of the 1970s.

Rather than have individual photos under a theme like most fashion editorials do, Peter Lindbergh tells a story of a mother and son that progresses throughout the editorial.
