New York post studio Post Company creates a warm interior design language for the Mollie Aspen boutique hotel located in Aspen, Colorado. It is filled with wooden accents and features a timber-clad structure by CCY Architects. The hotel's team explains, "Mollie is designed for those with a natural curiosity and appreciation for connection and offers visitors a unique, welcoming respite in the bustling mountain town."
Most of the materials used in the construction were drawn from the Western United States to reduce waste. Other details were added to create a cozy ambiance including hand-dyed textiles and sand-casted brass. The team continues, "These materials are incorporated throughout the hotel to mimic the area's rough-hewn mountains while large windows frame views of the surrounding landscape and bring an abundance of light into the hotel."
