Budget airline EasyJet has recently announced its intention of holding mid-air marriages.

Although there is speculation that this announcement is just to get in the limelight, in-flight wedding ceremonies actually sound like a good idea! The plan is to have pilots officiate during mid-air marriages, which lets couples go directly to their honeymoon destination right after their wedding ceremony. 

Who knew that the saying “on cloud nine” could sound so literal?
