This fun Fourth of July matchbox tutorial makes it easy to infuse your holiday weekend with as much Americana as possible. The easy to follow DIY project is created with a quick printable from the Almost Makes Perfect blog.

In order to create these DIY Fourth of July matchboxes, you will need a handful of Diamond matchboxes, scissors, a glue stick and a color printer.

Once printed, the tiny stars and stripes-themed design is complemented by a version that reads "Happy Fourth," with a typically red, white and blue rocket-style ice pops. Once cut up, the sheets are carefully glued onto the exterior of the matchbox.
