The Marque de Burgos Wine Label is Full of Wanderlust and Whimsy

This simple yet whimsical label for Mar­ques de Bur­gos wine was crafted by the creative minds at the design firm (calcco) Comunicación Visual. To create the concept for the design the character of Marques de Burgos was developed. It was decided that he is an adventurous man full of youthful exuberance and equipped with a romantic soul. In order to demonstrate his sparkling personality, (calcco) Comunicación Visual used the ever majestic and somewhat retro hot air balloon, with an eager Marques de Brugos leaning curiously over the rim of the basket.

To give the wine an air of playful energy and whimsy, (calcco) Comunicación Visual chose vivacious pink accents to color the hot air balloon and the neck of the bottle. Casting the mascot Marques de Burgos as a bit of an eccentric as he scours the skies for his next great adventure in his pink hot air balloon. The tagline beneath this great flying vessel reads, "The eternal traveller."
