The Magic GIF Ball, designed by DJ Harrigan, will respond to questions with popular animated GIFs. This modernization of the classic toy was built and designed by Harrigan from scratch. He began with an oversized 8-ball in Fusion 360 and 3D-printed it. The custom design allows Harrigan to include the necessary support structures inside the toy to securely hold a Raspberry Pi 3A+, an 1800 mAh Li-Ion battery, and a 1.3 inch 240x240 LCD display. This is to ensure that any vigorous shaking won't damage the inner hardware.
