Children have boundless energy but they need somewhere to play safe. Rolling around in a small room full of plastic balls has been a popular favourite for years, but now here is a fun and portable alternative that lets them bounce around at the playground, school or even in the family recreation room.

This playground carpet for kids was a collaborative art project between Joel Escalona, a freelance designer from Mexico City with artist and illustrator, Stephen Crowhurst. Escalona designs furniture, packaging and other products.
