At least one Australian mother is proud today, as Okan Kaya recently beat the Guinness World Record for longest video game marathon.
Okan Kaya's game of choice for this feat was Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. Kaya reached the longest video game marathon record by playing 122 hours and counting. That's right, he's still going. Imagine how his hands will feel after that!
In those 122 hours, Kaya took a total of 20 hours of breaks. During that time, he ate, exercised and rested. While playing, Kaya reached 49th on Black Ops 2's leaderboard, beating out almost 5 million players.
Kaya beat the record of 120 hours achieved by a Canadian duo in March and plans to not only beat the record but "smash it!"
