The global architecture firm MVRDV has created plans to build 2,700 houses in a project dubbed Long Tan Park, located in Liuzhou, China. The box-shaped homes will cover the city's limestone mountains in order to prevent erosion. The firm uses special construction techniques to lay out the houses in safe zones that won't erode further.
Implications - These box-covered hillsides are the perfect way to incorporate smart design and style into one architectural marvel. The Long Tan Park Concept in Liuzhou is a smart way to combat the dangerous affects that erosion can have.
