Social network Threads is preparing to launch live sports scores to users and it is starting with the NBA. It is noted by Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg that more leagues will be added within the near future. To access the scores during a game, users are to simply search for the teams and they will see an updated score immediately.
Once the game is over, the search will bring up the final score. Additionally, searching for when a game is on is also available. Every score is showcased with an indication of each team's logo. Tapping on the logo redirects fans to the ongoing conversation about that team. This adds to the 'real-time' experience of the social network as a whole.
