Get up, close and personal with this flexible and dynamic light design that promises its user a high level of entertainment and fun.

According to the designers, the knitted light object, called Matt, is meant to be moved and played with.

Through the use of an environmentally-friendly energy saving bulb with no heat emission, Matt can be “your friend all the way through long, platonic reading nights.”

Matt is designed by the creative llot llove from Germany. It was recently showcased at the Zona Tortona in Milan Design Week 2008.
