As part of the promotions for the newly announced Leica T camera, Leica released what it's calling 'The Most Boring Ad Ever Made.'

It's one thing to talk about how a product is carefully crafted, but this ad from Leica actually shows it—depicting the camera's aluminum shell being painstakingly polished by hand for nearly 45 minutes.

To get you through the first few minutes, there's a humorous voiceover that pokes fun at the duration of the film and its intentional boringness. If you've don't have a good part of an hour to kill and are really curious about how "obsessive German craftsmanship" gives Leica cameras their shine, you can skip ahead to the last minute of the video for a quick conclusion.
