2009 Lavazza Coffee Calender by Annie Leibovitz

This is a sneak preview of a 2009 calendar commissioned from superstar photographer Annie Leibovitz by the Lavazza coffee company. The Roman theme is played up with iconic Italian monuments which are artfully reconsidered.

It was shot in a studio, yet its photos include outdoor imagery like a kiss on a Roman bridge, a man rolling about in a coffee cup at Hadrian’s Villa and a Botticelli-esque model rising from the waters of the Trevi Fountain, of course with an espresso cup in her hand.
