If you've ever struggled turning a lamb spit by hand, the high tech, motion sensing souvLEAP is your answer. By using leap motion, this lamb rotisserie turns with the mere flick of a finger. By moving your digit in a circular motion, leap motion technology and Arduino enables your lamb spit to copy that movement and turn itself. A video from the Technological Educational Institute of Ionian Islands explains how this works.

Despite being a country in economic crisis with over 50% of its youth left unemployed, Greece's younger generation is being forced to think outside of the box. That is certainly what the souvLEAP represents, as it puts motorized lamb spits to shame with it's high tech lamb-cooking creativity.
