The Kissed by a Pit Challenge Benefits a Discriminated Dog Breed

Following the enormous success of the viral ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, Dog Park Publishing is issuing a challenge of their own called Kissed By A Pit to change perceptions of an infamous dog breed.

Pit Bulls are considered by many to be vicious and account for 1 million of the 1.2 million dogs euthanized every year (according to Esquire's The State of the American Dog). Dog Park Publishing is hoping to change these negative perceptions.

The company sells Pit Bull related products and recently launched the Kissed By A Pit challenge, which involves taking pictures of yourself with an affectionate Pit Bull and uploading it to social media channels using the hashtag. You also donate $5 (or more if you wish) to your local animal shelter or rescue.
