Light globe boxes are notoriously boring, so with the image that Josa Lightbulb packaging assumes, this product is sure to be first pick from the hardware store shelf.
Usually, you will see a plain white carton, perhaps printed with a single image of the type of light bulb inside. Black text in a bland font proceeds to make the item look all the more uninspiring. Here, the TGIF studio began with a clean slate, but came up with a complete concept that assimilates a new corporate logo and brand identity as well.
Interestingly, these boxes are still quite simple, but there's significant evidence that the visual features have been well conceived. Josa Lightbulb packaging incorporates an unusually bold splash of color and a comprehensive system for labeling the specs of the fixtures within.
