Jess Flood-Paddock is yet another entrant on the shortlist for the Converse/Dazed Emerging Artist Award. She concentrates on sculpture and installation pieces, experimenting with industrial materials like cement and building scraps. Much of her work looks unfinished, adding a feeling of nervousness and neuroses to her pieces. Her works often times feature bright colors such as pink, green and orange.

Keep an eye out for Jess Flood-Paddock, as the winner of the Converse/Dazed award will be announced Thursday, July 22, 2010.

Implications - The competition is taken very seriously and would be able to really help launch the artist who wins. Even being involved in the competition is a way to get your name out there. Stats for Rough Industrial Art Trending: Older & Chilly
