iWaste - iPod Wins Australian Award for Design Flaws
[Edit]
The iPod - loved by many, despised by more. The apple iPod has won a position in the Australian Consumer Product Watchdog, Choice, Shonky Awards.
Citing poor battery life, poor quality screen and a loophole in the legal system that forces Ozzies to pay AU$30.00 to send the machine off for a warranty claim as its reasons Australian’s are incresingly bad mouthing the market leader, pretty important for a product which achieved its notoriety on viral marketing.
My own iPod battery lasts just 8 hours (I don’t want to get it fixed though as I have a monkey tooth mark on the back from my trip to Malaysia - I fought the monkey to get it back and it was still playing the doors!!) and my girl friends turns on every two days.
I suggested investing in an iLog - something you build yourself has to be easier to fix, http://owlproject.com/
