‘It’s a Madcap World’ in Vogue by Steven Meisel

The February issue of Vogue US is surprising fashionstas and fashion photography fans with a brilliant editorial that puts the stale publication back into the forefront of fashion magazines.

The editorial I am talking about is called “It’s a Madcap World” by the one and only Steven Meisel. The work is so good, I did a double take to verify that this is indeed American Vogue and not Vogue Italia.

Taking inspiration from the 1930s, the editorial combines Meisel’s fantastic photography with a great selection by fashion editor Grace Coddington.

I also give brownie-points to Vogue US for going for with fresh faces instead of the usual suspects. The editorial features Anna Maria Jagodzinska, Viktoriya Sasonkina, Karlie Kloss, Liya Kebede, Jourdan Dunn and Natasha Poly.
